Role: Operations Manager

What You’ll Own

You will build, optimise, and scale the operational backbone of RUMI. From 3PL relationships to order fulfilment to inventory accuracy — you’ll ensure every customer receives a seamless, premium experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage 3PL warehousing and logistics partners across regions.
  • Ensure every order ships in full, on time, every time — no excuses.
  • Own the entire order-to-delivery pipeline for D2C and marketplace channels.
  • Build SOPs, define SLAs, and ensure compliance across all fulfilment partners.
  • Track daily dispatches, returns, RTOs, and logistics performance to minimise errors and delays.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, stock reconciliations, and forecasting.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and the D2C team for smooth flow of goods.
  • Drive continuous improvement — reduce costs, reduce errors, improve speed.
  • Handle quality checks, packaging standards, and operational hygiene.
  • Set up dashboards and review metrics regularly to identify gaps and implement fixes.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 4–5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, warehousing, or fulfilment for a D2C or FMCG brand.
  • Experience working with 3PL partners is a must.
  • You’re proactive, structured, and obsessed with operational excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a comfort with numbers, systems, and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, zero-bureaucracy startup environment.
  • Bias for action — you get things done, even if you have to figure it out along the way.
  • Passion for building reliable, scalable systems from scratch.
