Job Title: Operations Manager-ELV & MEP
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 8 to 15 Years
Annual CTC: 7 to 10 Lakhs
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager-ELV & MEP oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all Electrical, Low Voltage (ELV), and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) projects. This role ensures operational excellence through efficient project delivery, adherence to quality standards, cost control, and client satisfaction. The manager leads technical and site teams to ensure timely and safe project completion in compliance with industry regulations and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Project Management

  • Plan, organize, and supervise all ELV and MEP operations across multiple projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee procurement, logistics, and subcontractor management.
  • Implement project management tools, processes, and reporting systems.

2. Technical Oversight

  • Review and approve technical drawings, designs, and specifications for ELV & MEP systems.
  • Provide technical guidance on systems such as fire alarms, CCTV, access control, BMS, plumbing, and electrical works.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client requirements.
  • Conduct technical audits and ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning.

3. Financial Management

  • Develop and manage operational budgets.
  • Ensure cost control, resource optimization, and profitability targets are met.
  • Support commercial teams in tendering, estimation, and variation claims.

4. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers, site supervisors, and technicians.
  • Ensure strong communication between site teams and management
  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce HSE policies and ensure compliance with safety standards on all project sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering. Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 - 15 years in MEP/ELV project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or operations management role.
  • Technical Expertise:

-MEP systems (plumbing, electrical).

-ELV systems (CCTV, access control, BMS, fire alarm, public address, etc.).

  • Certifications (preferred): PMP, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
  • Skills:

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

-Project planning and resource management.

-Financial acumen and analytical skills.

-Proficient in MS Project / Primavera and AutoCAD.
