Operations Manager(Fabric Industry)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the fabric/textile industry to oversee daily operations, optimize processes, and ensure smooth production workflow. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fabric manufacturing, processing, sourcing, or supply-chain management within the textile domain.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

• Oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Monitor daily workflow in weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, finishing, or garmenting (as applicable).
• Implement SOPs for production, quality control, inventory, and dispatch.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and logistics teams to maintain operational accuracy.

Supply Chain & Inventory

• Manage fabric procurement, vendor relationships, and raw material planning.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and track stock movement.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate for quality and cost efficiency.

Process Improvement & Quality

• Identify gaps in operations and implement continuous improvement strategies (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
• Minimize wastage and improve production yield.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and guide operations staff, supervisors, and shift teams.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operations with business goals.
• Provide regular operational reports and performance analysis.

Cost & Compliance

• Monitor operational costs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, labor laws, and compliance guidelines relevant to the textile sector.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
