We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Specialist for our client, a freight

forwarding company. The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process,

ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all operational steps.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage and execute end-to-end freight forwarding operations (air, sea, road as

applicable) from booking to final delivery.

● Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, agents, and customs brokers to ensure timely

cargo movement.

● Prepare and manage all shipping documentation

● Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to internal teams and clients throughout

the process.

● Handle import/export clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and

company policies.

● Act as the primary operational contact for customers, providing solutions to unexpected

challenges (delays, documentation issues, port/customs problems).

● Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of confirmed shipments,

aligning operational execution with customer expectations.

● Manage cost control, supplier negotiations, and ensure invoicing accuracy.

● Report regularly on shipment status, KPIs, and potential risks to management.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related

field.

● Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations (import &

export).

● Strong knowledge of customs, customs regulations, and international shipping

processes.

● Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems (ERP/TMS).

● Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

● Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
