Qualifications:
As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.
Minimum:
Duties and responsibilities of this position must be performed at the official work site of the Department.
Pay:
$20 - $25/hourly (based on experience)

The Work You Will Do:
The OPS Government Operations Consultant II is a member of the Workforce Systems Administration unit within the Division of Workforce Services, Bureau of One-Stop and Program Support. This position will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the state’s critical workforce development management information system, Employ Florida. The incumbent will coordinate with Department staff to provide information and reports to other government agencies and administrative entities. This position will provide training and technical assistance and writing guidance for workforce programs. This position will provide direction, input/feedback and implementation of system functions, content, and enhancements for the current system or its successor. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and directing Department resources in their input/feedback and other duties associated with the project and in working with the vendor.

You will play a critical role in ensuring program outcomes and standards meet the objectives of federal and state law while improving on the way we do business through both onsite and remote monitoring. You will also assist in helping Floridians obtain needed resources to become self-sufficient in an effective and efficient manner by ensuring local board processes and procedures comport with applicable federal and state law.
