Overview
As an Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Payroll and Talent Management within Oracle Fusion, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and implementing the Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. You will work with both technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration, customizations, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Payroll and Talent Management modules for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration of HCM, Payroll and Talent Management modules.
- Lead or assist in the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Payroll and Talent Management modules.
- Understand client-specific payroll and talent management processes (e.g., compensation, benefits, workforce performance, recruitment) and map them to Oracle Fusion Cloud functionalities.
- Configure payroll elements, salary structures, benefits, and reporting in Oracle Fusion Payroll.
- Set up performance management, talent reviews, career development, and succession planning features in Oracle Fusion Talent Management.
- Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by working with both functional and technical teams.
- Provide expert guidance on payroll compliance, taxation, and reporting, ensuring the configuration adheres to local regulations and global best practices.
- Optimize Oracle Fusion Talent Management capabilities for recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee development.
- Leverage Oracle Fusion HCM features to streamline and improve HR processes related to payroll and talent management.
- Payroll Integration & Data Management: Lead or assist in the integration of Oracle Fusion Payroll with third-party applications like banks, tax agencies, or financial systems; ensure the integrity of employee payroll data and streamline payroll processing across multiple regions and currencies.
- Customizations, Reporting, and Analytics: Develop formulas and implement custom payroll calculations, adjustments, and deductions based on client-specific requirements; create customized reports for payroll processing and employee benefits using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI; develop dashboards and advanced analytics for monitoring payroll performance and talent management metrics.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead functional and technical testing, including payroll testing and talent management processes; support issue resolution identified during system testing, UAT, or in production.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training to HR and payroll teams on how to use Oracle Fusion Payroll and Talent Management effectively; create detailed documentation for customizations, integrations, and configurations.
- Post-Implementation Support: Offer post-implementation support to resolve payroll processing issues, system errors, or improvements in Talent Management; provide periodic updates to the system to accommodate changes in payroll legislation or talent management best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including strong experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll and Talent Management modules.
- Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Payroll and Talent Management solutions.
- Previous experience working on large-scale payroll or talent management transformations, ideally across multiple regions.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture, configurations, and customizations for Payroll and Talent Management modules.
- Experience using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), PL/SQL, or Groovy for customizations.
- Solid understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integration between Oracle Fusion Payroll and other external systems.
- Proficiency in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, or Oracle Analytics Cloud for creating reports and dashboards.
- Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of global payroll processing, compliance and payroll systems in different regions.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Talent Management modules such as Recruiting, Performance Management, Learning, Succession Planning, and Goal Management.
- Ability to map and translate business requirements to Oracle Fusion functionality and provide process improvements.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to payroll and talent management processes.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both functional and technical teams in a cross-functional setting.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and HR data management.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll or Talent Management modules is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, HR policies, and best practices in various countries (especially for multinational companies).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies or other project management frameworks.
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Reporting and Analytics solutions like OTBI and BI Publisher.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Oracle certification in Fusion HCM or Payroll is a plus.
