Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled OT Assistant who can support surgeons across a broad range of procedures.
This role involves assisting in reconstructive surgeries, contouring procedures, trauma-related surgical work, burns care surgeries, and other operative cases handled at the center.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the OT with sterilized instruments, consumables, and equipment for all types of surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations that involve reconstructive corrections, body contouring, trauma-related repairs, and burns management.
• Follow strict OT hygiene, sterilization, and infection control protocols.
• Handle instruments, support equipment setup, and maintain OT inventory and consumables.
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, draping, and overall surgical readiness.
• Maintain daily documentation including sterilization logs, checklists, and equipment tracking.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff to ensure smooth OT workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Certification related to OT Assistance or OT Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting surgical procedures in a hospital or surgical center.
• Strong understanding of OT protocols, sterilization techniques, and instrument handling.
• Ability to support both routine and complex surgical cases.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting reconstructive and contouring surgeries.
• Exposure to trauma-related and burns-related surgical assistance.
• Ability to handle high-pressure surgical situations efficiently.
• Familiarity with surgical equipment and OT safety practices.
