Position Overview

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide expert psychiatric care as a 1099 independent contractor. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to see patients in-person in our Warren office while also supporting telehealth appointments. The position is ideal for psychiatrists who value autonomy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and building meaningful, ongoing relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for children, adolescents, and adults
• Coordinate care with therapists and other clinicians to ensure integrated, evidence-based treatment
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention as needed
• Maintain timely, thorough, and HIPAA-compliant documentation using EMR systems
• Participate in team consultations and clinical discussions to support comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Current Michigan medical license in psychiatry
• Board Certification in Psychiatry required
• MD, DO, or NP credentials required
• Experience treating diverse populations, including children and adults
• Strong clinical judgment and interest in long-term client care

Schedule & Work Setting

• Flexible daytime schedule; preference for morning sessions on Thursdays and Fridays
• Primarily in-person, with optional telehealth sessions
