Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. This hybrid role allows for both in-person care in Ann Arbor and optional telehealth sessions. The ideal candidate values collaborative care, patient relationships, and flexible scheduling.

Schedule: Weekdays, flexible hours; mornings preferred, especially Thursdays and Fridays
Work Setting: Primarily in-person in a professional office, with hybrid/telehealth options available

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and manage ongoing medication plans
• Collaborate with therapists and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR systems
• Participate in case consultations and integrated treatment planning
• Provide psychiatric care to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults

Qualifications

• Active Michigan license to practice psychiatry
• Board Certification required
• MD, DO, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) credentials
• Experience treating multiple age groups preferred
• Interest in long-term, collaborative patient care
