Packaging Designer

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Structural Designer to support our production teams by developing precise drawings, layouts, and 3D models for custom products and packaging. This role plays a key part in turning concepts, measurements, and customer requests into designs, prototypes, and real solutions used on the production floor

What You’ll Do

• Create and update 2D/3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Translate ideas, measurements, and customer requirements into accurate, sustainable designs.
• Assist with prototypes, project cost estimates, and test builds for new products.
• Work with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and optimized for manufacturing.
• Maintain drawing files, revision histories, and documentation.
• Support R&D, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with sales, operations, and quality as needed.

Skills & Experience

• Experience with CAD software is required. Proficiency in ArtiosCAD is preferred; however, experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Inventor is also welcome.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, comfortable with measurements, tolerances, and layouts.
• Ability to visualize and design physical structures.
• Attention to detail and good documentation habits.
• Strong aptitude for numbers and precise measurements.
• Prior packaging or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
