Paralegal - Personal Injury

Job Summary
The Law Office of Nathalie Karpati, a growing personal injury firm in Annapolis, Maryland, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience handling personal injury matters, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• You must be able to manage personal injury files from intake through settlement. No exceptions.
• This is a fast paced environment and you must be able to multi task handling approximately 90 cases in rotation.
• Conduct new client intakes, gather accident details, and open claims with insurance carriers.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment progress, case status, and required documentation.
• Provide regular case status updates to insurance adjusters and promptly respond to their requests for documentation or clarification.
• Ensure that property damage claims are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Draft and prepare correspondence, settlement demands, and related case documents.
• Maintain well-organized case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters.
• Request Police Reports

Qualifications

• 5 years Personal Injury Experience Required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. .
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Clio a plus.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time (in-office only) 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Annapolis, MD

Compensation $31.25 to 36.00 per hour depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
