Part Time Afternoon Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the developmental needs of children. This role involves working with students to enhance their academic skills, promote social interaction, and encourage personal growth through various teaching methodologies, including Montessori and special education techniques.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns related to child welfare.
• Provide early intervention support for students requiring additional assistance in areas such as math and literacy.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with special education needs.
• Supervise and engage with children during daycare activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior, providing feedback as necessary.

Requirements

• A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and early intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and development.
• Experience working with toddlers or young children is beneficial.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of education.
