Job Description:

IMLCA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Codes Compliance Officer to join our team. This part-time position is essential for maintaining the community's standards and aesthetics through the consistent and fair enforcement of our governing documents.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong understanding of property maintenance codes and construction plans, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to impartiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Review property improvement plans for compliance with IMLCA codes.

Conduct on-site inspections of ongoing improvement projects.

Investigate property maintenance concerns and perform periodic patrols to identify potential violations.

Issue formal violation letters, Stop Work Orders, and perform follow-up compliance checks. Maintain clear, professional, and tactful communication with property members, co-workers, outside contractors, and Township agencies.

Document all actions with clear reasoning and prepare a comprehensive monthly activity report for the Board of Directors.

Qualifications & Skills:

Comprehensive knowledge of IMLCA documents (Deed Covenants, By-Laws, Rules & Regulations, Property Management Code).

Proven experience reading and interpreting construction plans.

Except interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance.

Highly organized, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
