Part-Time Daycare Teacher (The Learning Experience of Astoria)

The Learning Experience of Astoria is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Part-Time Floating Teacher. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and can confidently support classrooms ranging from infants through 4 years old.

Position: Part-Time Daycare Teacher (Floating Position)
Schedules Available:

8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  Applicants may apply for one or both shifts.
  

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children, including infants

A nurturing, reliable, and flexible educator who can step into any classroom when support is needed

Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment

Someone comfortable with all age groups and with going between all classrooms

Responsibilities

Support lead teachers with daily routines, activities, and classroom management

Assist with diapering, feeding, classroom prep, transitions, and supervision

Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
