Our firm is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a client-focused environment and excels at managing complex estate planning matters.

About the Role

The Estate Planning Paralegal will oversee the day-to-day operations of our estate planning practice, support attorneys in document drafting and case management, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and skilled at guiding clients through sensitive and important life-planning decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Manage the intake, organization, and processing of estate planning matters from start to finish
  • Coordinate and maintain calendars, client communications, and document execution appointments
  • Perform legal research related to estate planning and probate matters
  • Review financial and personal information to accurately prepare documents and ensure compliance
  • Maintain internal workflows, checklists, and procedures to ensure efficient practice management
  • Work closely with attorneys to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables
  • Assist with probate filings and estate administration tasks as needed
  • Provide exceptional client service, including status updates and answering client questions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a paralegal in wills, trusts, or estate planning
  • Strong understanding of estate planning concepts, legal terminology, and probate procedures
  • Excellent drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills and a client-centered approach
  • Proficiency in legal practice management software and Microsoft Office
  • Paralegal certification preferred but not required
