Part-Time House Supervisor – Group Home
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Part-Time (Hours vary)
Location: Must be able to travel to different locations as needed
On-Call Requirement: As needed (may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergencies)
Supportive Family Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Part-Time House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our group home setting. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for supporting adults with developmental disabilities, and the ability to maintain a safe, caring, and well-organized home environment.
Position: Part-Time House Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Home Operations
- Oversee the daily functioning of the group home to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Ensure completion of household duties, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and home maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with licensing standards and all SFS policies and procedures.
Staff Support & Leadership
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Assist with managing schedules, shift coverage, and training new staff.
- Respond to call-outs, staffing emergencies, and urgent issues when on-call.
Resident Care & Support
- Support residents with daily living skills, medication administration, personal care, and individualized needs.
- Ensure all supports follow each resident’s Person-Centered Support Plan.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and empowering environment for all residents.
Documentation & Communication
- Complete accurate and timely documentation including incident reports, daily logs, and medication records.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, families, and healthcare providers.
- Relay important updates during shift transitions to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 5 years of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience in a group home or similar setting.
- Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility needs (training provided).

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
