Part-Time Spanish Speaking Personal Injury Case Manager

Looking for a part-time Spanish speaking case manager for a small, plaintiff personal injury practice. The position will have flexible hours Monday - Friday.

The job will involve the following tasks, among others as assigned from time to time:

- interacting with Spanish speaking clients;

-preparation of shell pleadings, discovery, discovery responses, correspondence, reports, exhibits and other legal documents;

- billing;

- making and taking phone calls;

- scheduling and coordinating events, including depositions and hearings;

- maintaining a calendar;

- supervising records orders;

- acquiring records and other evidence directly;

- creating binders and exhibits for hearings and depositions;

- maintaining case files;

- data entry;

- summarizing medical records and bills;

- summarizing depositions; and

- preparing invoices.

The candidate must have:

- Spanish fluency;

- good spoken and written communication skills, including ability to draft and proof-read the documents listed above;

- attention to detail;

- college degree or significant college course work preferred;

- proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and PDF editing software, such as Acrobat;

- type 50 words per minute;

- ability to keep office business confidential; and

- highest ethical standards.

We prefer (but not necessarily required):

- prior law office experience;

- prior experience;

- experience with legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and correspondence;

- experience with filing, e-filing; and

- experience with Mac OS.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
