Role Overview:

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Patient Coordinator to serve as the primary administrative link between patients, medical staff, and management. This role involves managing patient schedules, facilitating patient flow, handling insurance verification, and ensuring a positive overall patient experience from initial contact through treatment completion.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient-facing administrative role, preferably within a medical clinic, hospital, or polyclinic setting.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience working in the UAE healthcare sector.
  • Excellent proficiency in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Proven ability to handle complex scheduling, manage administrative details, and understand basic medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of health insurance processes and claims management is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the provider schedules, booking and confirming patient appointments, and rescheduling as necessary to optimize clinic efficiency.
  • Greet patients warmly, manage patient check-in and check-out, and collect necessary personal and financial information.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, explain coverage details, and process billing and payment collections.
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments, specialist referrals, and necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Ensure patient waiting areas are comfortable and all administrative procedures comply with clinic policies and patient confidentiality (HIPAA/data protection standards).
