Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Perfume/Fragrance Specialist (Nose) to join our perfume manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a refined olfactory sense and extensive experience in fragrance creation, formulation, and quality evaluation. This role requires both technical expertise and artistic creativity to develop unique and market-ready perfumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Fragrance Creation & Development
• Develop, blend, and refine perfume formulations according to client or brand requirements.
• Experiment with raw materials and fragrance accords to create innovative scents.
• Work with production teams to scale fragrances from lab to factory without compromising quality.
• Quality & Sensory Evaluation
• Evaluate fragrance consistency, strength, and longevity.
• Conduct sensory analysis to ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Identify and correct deviations in raw materials, blends, or final products.
• Collaboration & Project Management
• Work closely with R&D, marketing, and production teams for new product launches.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior perfumers or production staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, testing, and approvals.
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety
• Ensure all fragrance formulations comply with UAE and international regulations.
• Maintain safe handling and storage of fragrance materials, essential oils, and chemicals.
• Keep updated on global trends, ingredients, and sustainability practices in perfumery.
• Innovation & Trend Analysis
• Monitor market trends and emerging fragrance profiles.
• Propose new fragrance concepts and enhancements based on market insights.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Perfumery, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5–7 years experience as a perfumer, fragrance specialist, or nose in perfume/cosmetic industry.
• Strong olfactory skills with proven track record in fragrance creation.
• Knowledge of raw materials, essential oils, aroma chemicals, and perfume formulation.
• Understanding of fragrance stability testing and quality control processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (IFRA, GCC, UAE) is preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
