Pharmacy Clerk/Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Clerk/Dispatcher to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring efficient medication distribution and patient service within a fast-paced medical environment.

Fixed Schedule from 5:00PM-10:00PM Monday - Friday. Saturday's as needed

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with LTC pharmacy operations, and experience in patient care .

The Pharmacy Clerk/Dispatcher will support pharmacy operations, coordinate medication deliveries, and assist with patient interactions, contributing to optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize medication orders for delivery and dispatches routes to our contracted delivery vendors.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and facilitating medication delivery
• Support pharmacy technicians in getting the filled orders packaged and ready for the normal routinely delivery routes.
• Support the pharmacy team in answering & directly the incoming calls, organize the pharmacy medical supplies as well as any administrative tasks as needed.
• Qualifications
• Ability to use computer systems to add/edit delivery orders for our contracted delivery vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with healthcare providers and patients.
• opportunity to advance to a pharmacy technician after completing the required license requirements.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
