Nerve & Pain Institute is a physician-owned neurology and interventional pain practice located in Tigard, Oregon. We focus on comprehensive diagnostics and advanced interventional procedures, with a strong reputation among diverse referral sources across the Portland metro region.

We do not manage chronic opioid prescriptions. Our practice emphasizes evidence-based interventional care, neurologic evaluation, and electrodiagnostic medicine—supported by a collaborative, highly skilled team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Physician dually trained in Neurology and Pain Medicine to join our expanding clinic on a true partnership track. The ideal candidate wants to grow the practice together, shape long-term strategy, and eventually become a co-owner.

This position includes interventional pain procedures, neurologic evaluations, EMG/NCS, and supervising non-physician providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive neurologic and interventional pain evaluations.
  • Provide interventional procedures, including:
  • Epidural steroid injections
  • Medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation
  • Peripheral nerve blocks
  • Spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulator trials and implants
  • Conduct and interpret EMG/NCS (training available; willingness to learn is required).
  • Supervise and collaborate with PAs, NPs, and MAs.
  • Participate in clinic growth, quality improvement, and strategic planning as part of the partnership pathway.

Required Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in BOTH Neurology and Pain Medicine.
  • Completion of — or current enrollment in — an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship.
  • Active or eligible for Oregon medical license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and perform EMG/NCS.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $250,000.00 - $2,000,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
