Physician Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary
Spine Care Medical Long Island is looking for an experienced and motivated part-time Physician Liaison to help us grow our well-established practice.

In this position, the right candidate plays a crucial role in consistently engaging with medical offices and other referral sources across Long Island. Their responsibilities include nurturing existing connections and building new relationships to enhance the visibility and reputation of our services.

In this role, you will spearhead efforts to build strong relationships with physicians across various specialties, promote our clinical services, and facilitate seamless communication to enhance patient care. Your proactive approach will ensure that physicians are well-informed about our programs, resources, and research opportunities, ultimately driving collaborative success and improving health outcomes. Responsibilities

• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, with a focus on physician relationships
• Ability to successfully discuss practice-related matters with highly competent peers, such as physicians and practice administrators
• Well-organized with effective multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with creative thinking abilities
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with physicians across multiple specialties including psychiatry, cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, and more.
• Coordinate outreach activities such as informational sessions, educational seminars, and community events to promote our clinical services and research initiatives.

Skills

• Preferred qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a health-related field
• Preferred background: Surgical
• Proficiency in utilizing basic Microsoft products and Google applications for text messages, emails, and other electronic communications
• 3-5 years experience in the field preferred.
• Must generally enjoy outreach and being on the road
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and follow-up activities.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards ensures confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
