Job Description – Planning Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reports To: Managing Director

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience to support

project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities. With strong analytical, reporting, and

coordination skills to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing baseline schedules, manpower histograms, and resource allocation plans.

• Monitor project progress and compare actual performance with the approved schedule.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and subcontractors to gather progress data.

• Identify delays, risks, and variances; propose corrective and mitigation measures.

• Track material procurement, engineering approvals, and construction activities.

• Support planning-related presentations and meetings with clients and consultants.

• Ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and company planning

standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in planning roles within construction or engineering projects.

• Strong understanding of project planning workflows and construction sequences.

• Good knowledge of drawings, project specifications, and site processes.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
