We are looking for a
Planning Engineer
with multi-discipline experience in the construction of Oil and Gas Projects. The candidate will update activities for construction project, including update planning and scheduling, progress and performance monitoring and reporting.
Job Brief:

Prepare programs for construction detailed schedules (micro schedules, etc.) to the level of detail deemed appropriate, in accordance with drawings and site requirements.

Provide regular schedule updates, considering latest data regarding actual progress, revised scope, execution sequence and performance. Ensure that schedule updates are realistic and achievable.

Utilize Primavera P6 on a regular basisto analyze and recommend improvements to schedules, in terms of logic, critical paths, durations, floats, sequencing, assigned resources (direct man-hours) and execution methodology.

Analyze actual performance versus baseline schedule, proposing recommendations to mitigate delays and implement remedial actions.

Prepare the Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports, as required by the Contract and corporate procedures.

Capable to produce manpower histogram, Progress S-curve and commodity curves from the schedule and provide a forecast as a result of the updated schedule.

Prepare and update labor and equipment resource programs, showing the work force required for each direct trade and for each subcontractor when applicable.
Requirements:

Bachelor's in mechanical engineering.

Years of experience (3 to 5 years) with a construction Contractor’s organization working on Mechanical projects.

Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Work Face Planning (WFP) exposure will be an advantage.
