We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Planning & Purchase Engineer who has hands-on experience in the construction and infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate must be capable of preparing BOQ/BOM, planning project schedules, understanding tender specifications, coordinating with site teams, and managing end-to-end procurement at the best prices and terms.
This role directly supports project execution efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare BOQ and BOM based on tender drawings, technical specifications, and site requirements
- Develop project-wise work schedules, material planning charts, and execution timelines
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and vendors to ensure timely material availability
- Monitor project progress and update schedules, highlighting delays and critical paths
- Assist in cost estimation, quantity take-off, and resource planning during bidding
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for civil, electrical, mechanical, MS fabrication, and infrastructure materials
- Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and warranty conditions
- Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely material supply as per project plan
- Maintain procurement logs, price databases, vendor performance records, and cost comparisons
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing
3. Technical & Documentation Support
- Interpret drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare accurate quantity requirements
- Work with internal teams for technical approval of materials and samples
- Prepare and maintain DPRs, MRRs, procurement trackers, and consumption reports
- Support tendering team during bidding with technical inputs and quantity analysis
Required Qualifications & Skills
- BE/ B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- 5–8 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, MEP, or elevator projects
- Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, MS structural works, electrical components, etc.
- Experience in BOQ/BOM preparation, tender interpretation, and project planning (MSP/Primavera/Excel)
- Strong vendor network and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement software/ERP
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Competencies
- Knowledge of cost estimation & budgeting
- Understanding of statutory requirements (GST, e-way bill, quality standards)
- Ability to coordinate across departments and drive timely execution
- Strong analytical thinking and documentation skills

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
