Job Summary:

  About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with deep expertise in Manual Testing, API validation, and Test Automation using the Playwright framework. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency in JavaScript (JS), TypeScript (TS), and Python (Py), coupled with solid Database skills and a hands-on approach to Performance and Security testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality and reliability.
  Build, maintain, and enhance Playwright-based test automation frameworks using JS/TS/Python.
  Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
  Write and optimize complex SQL queries (including joins, nested queries, and stored procedures) for test data validation.
  Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless integration and test coverage across the SDLC.
  Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability.
  Participate in security testing initiatives to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide clear, concise reporting and documentation.
  Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, test strategy, and automation efficiency.
  
  Required Skills & Qualifications:
  5+ years of professional experience in software testing (Manual + Automation).
  Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation using JavaScript/TypeScript/Python.
  Proficiency in API testing and validation (REST, GraphQL).
  Expertise in SQL—especially writing and debugging complex join queries.
  Working knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6).
  Exposure to security testing concepts and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
  
  Good to Have:
  Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for test environment setup.
  Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  
  Soft Skills:
  Excellent collaboration and cross-functional communication.
  Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.
  Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and accountability for deliverables.
