Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and related trades. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various projects, including commercial and remodeling sites. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings, with the ability to work safely on construction sites. Prior experience with welding, hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites
• Conduct remodeling projects involving plumbing components and systems
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC or other building systems as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Assist with site preparation, assembly, and other maintenance person tasks as required

Experience

• Construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades
• Knowledge of construction plumbing systems and remodeling processes
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or general building maintenance
• Skills in welding, pipe threading, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Experience with schematic interpretation and basic math for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures on construction sites
• Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment
• Prior maintenance person experience or assembly skills are advantageous for versatile project support

This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Pay: $25.20 - $32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
