Basic Functions / Responsibilities:

• Provide support for all the Postgresql databases
• Perform Maintenance task & Daily checks
• Perform database upgrades and apply software patches on all Postgresql
• Monitors and Responds to Alerts generated
• Perform Performance tuning & Capacity planning on databases
• Working with Backup team & Monitoring team to do best for databases
• Cross-training on new or other data technologies, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
• Provide operational support, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for MongoDB environments
• Participate in backup/restore, replication, and disaster recovery operations for MongoDB

Qualifications/Skills:

• BSc degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or similar academic disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in Postgresql database administration
• Experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Experience of Patroni Cluster
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB administration, monitoring, backup-restore, replication, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with MongoDB Ops Manager or similar monitoring/automation tools is a plus
• Knowledge with Sql Server
• Fluent in English
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Experience of Monitoring, Backup-Restore , Upgrade & Patching
