SSRS / Paginated Reports
Report creation, parameters, subscriptions, drilldown, stored procedure-based reports
SQL Expertise
Joins, CTEs, window functions, indexing, performance tuning
Azure (Preferred)
Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Power BI Embedded
Other Skills
Excel PowerPivot, Power Automate, Power Apps (good to have), ETL understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
- Build optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, time-intelligence expressions
- Develop, maintain & optimize SSRS reports/ paginated reports
- Work closely with business teams to gather requirements and convert them into analytical solutions
- Perform data modelling using Star/Snowflake schema, implement relationships, hierarchies, row-level security
- Create automated data transformations using Power Query/M
- Manage and publish content in Power BI Service & Workspace Administration
- Implement scheduled refresh, gateway configuration, performance tuning & report governance
- Lead and mentor BI developers, code reviews, and best practices adoption
- Work with SQL databases (T-SQL), stored procedures, views, query optimization
- Ensure data accuracy, performance efficiency, and scalability of reporting systems
