Pre-K Teacher

Position: Pre-K Teacher (Immediate Opening)
Location: Hyde Park, MA (also convenient to Roslindale, Mattapan, West Roxbury, Milton, Dedham, and surrounding areas)
Rate: $50-55/hour

About the Role:
Our agency is hiring on behalf of a partner school in Hyde Park, MA that has an immediate opening for a Pre-K Teacher. Teachers are responsible for the academic and social growth of their students, supporting a classroom of 17-18 students. Pre-K Teachers are supported in the classroom by a paraprofessional.

Schedule:

• School day: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
• Professional development: Wednesdays until 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach all core subjects, except Arts and PE
• Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations, providing support to ensure student success
• Participate actively in coaching and professional development opportunities
• Assist with school programs and activities during non-instructional time
• Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the school community

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 2 years of full-time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban education setting
• Must hold a valid Massachusetts DESE Teaching License for PreK. (REQUIRED)
• Believe that all students can succeed and demonstrate a commitment to their growth
• Desire to continually improve teaching practice through feedback and professional development
• Proven record of student growth and achievement is a plus
