PreK Team Lead

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Team Leader to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early intervention, literacy education, and special education, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. As a Team Leader, you will guide and support staff in delivering high-quality educational experiences while ensuring the well-being of every child in our care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to educational standards and best practices.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting effective classroom management techniques.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, including literacy education and special education strategies.
• Conduct regular assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Facilitate early intervention programs to support children requiring additional assistance.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and community resources to enhance child welfare and development.
• Organize tutoring sessions for students needing extra help in specific subjects or skills.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children, including those in toddler care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of early intervention strategies and literacy education practices.
• Familiarity with special education requirements and classroom management techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with staff, parents, and community members.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that accommodate various learning styles and needs.
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support is highly desirable.
• A passion for child welfare and commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
