Business Development & Prospecting:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors by leveraging existing construction/real estate industry contacts and cold-calling efforts.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with General Contractors, Developers, Architects, Engineers, and Property Owners. Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients.
Sales Strategy:
Create and execute effective territory sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Technical Understanding:
Clearly articulate the value proposition of our [Specify product/service, e.g., structural steel, MEP services, specialized equipment] and translate technical specifications into compelling client solutions.
Proposal & Negotiation:
Prepare, present, and negotiate contracts, proposals, and bids, ensuring profitability and alignment with client needs and project timelines.
Market Intelligence:
Stay current on industry trends, construction legislation, competitor activities, and market shifts within the construction and real estate sectors.
Reporting:
Maintain an organized pipeline, accurately forecast sales, and document all client interactions and sales activities using the company's CRM system.
Qualification:
Experience: Minimum of [2-5] years of successful sales experience with a significant portion of that time spent in the Construction, Building Materials, Engineering, or Commercial Real Estate industries.
Industry Knowledge: Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and project specifications.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal).
