Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to create meaningful learning experiences that support children ages 3–4 in developing essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging activities, supporting social-emotional development, and maintaining strong communication with families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care and instruction to preschool-aged children
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and hands-on learning
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Ohio Early Learning Standards
• Support children’s early literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development
• Monitor and document each child’s progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
• Maintain open, daily communication with families regarding progress and classroom updates
• Ensure compliance with all state licensing rules and center policies
• Promote positive relationships with children, families, coworkers, and administrators
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in preschool instruction
• Creative, enthusiastic, dependable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
