Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role involves implementing age-appropriate (2-4 years-old) curricula, fostering social and emotional development, and supporting early learning milestones. Experience with children, classroom management, and a strong understanding of childhood development are essential to success in this position. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the foundational skills of our students while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social emotional learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies.
- Monitor and assess children's developmental progress through observations.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones.
- Incorporate early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Facilitate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and physical development, such as planning circle time activities, art projects, and dance and movement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, curriculum development, and classroom management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; experience with toddlers is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
- Experience with classroom management tools and lesson planning for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is highly desirable; relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social interactions.

Pay: $24.79 - $29.85 per hour
