Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team, committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered medical care across diverse populations. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking medical attention, providing preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and health education. Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop personalized care plans that incorporate preventive strategies, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient cases using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR platforms to ensure accurate documentation and seamless communication.
  • Coordinate with specialists across disciplines including cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, dermatology, and others to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, basic wound care, and administering immunizations while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
  • Provide health coaching and education on topics like diabetes management, maternal-fetal medicine, family planning, and smoking cessation to empower patients in their wellness journeys.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at advancing primary care practices and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records for legal accountability and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.
  • Board certification or eligibility in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pathology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Ability to perform clinical procedures including suturing, IV infusion, airway management, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Experience working in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, or hospital environments; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonology, neurology or related fields is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education; compassionate approach to diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes along with understanding of infection control practices.

Pay: $210.00 - $220.00 per hour
