Primary Care Physician – Correctional Health | Represa, CA | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to deliver medical care in a correctional setting in Represa, CA. This role involves managing routine and urgent primary care needs while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and ethical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical exams, sick calls, chronic care, and follow-ups
• Document all encounters using electronic charting
• Order labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests as appropriate
• Coordinate with specialists for continued patient care
• Participate in clinical reviews, audits, and case discussions
• Prescribe medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain infection control and adhere to safety standards
• Ensure compliance with facility and state regulations

Requirements

• Active California MD/DO License (Unrestricted)
• Board Certified / Board Eligible – FM or IM
• ACLS (AHA) required
• 2+ years clinical experience (correctional or primary care preferred)
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities
