Define and execute the Enterprise BI Capability roadmap, driving standardization, automation, and innovation across the analytics ecosystem.

Establish best practices for data modelling, reporting standardization, and self-service analytics adoption.

Lead executive briefings and steering committee sessions, communicating progress, risks, and innovation opportunities

Drive an innovation culture that embraces experimentation with next-gen BI tools, CoPilot experiences, and AI-assisted analytics.

Solution Architecture & Engineering
-
Architect and manage scalable, secure BI and data platforms leveraging Microsoft technologies - Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2, Databricks, and Spark.

Design end-to-end ETL/ELT frameworks, semantic models, and performance-optimized data layers for analytical consumption.

Lead integration of MDM and Metadata Management solutions to ensure consistency, governance, and single source of truth across data assets.

Implement robust data lineage and governance through Microsoft Purview and Fabric-native features.
-
Drive reusability and automation through parameterized pipelines, CI/CD deployment patterns, and observability dashboards.

Business Intelligence & Data Analysis

Lead the BI Reporting & Analytics function, enabling delivery of interactive, self-service dashboards and KPI scorecards across departments.

Oversee the design and rollout of Power BI, Fabric, and embedded analytics solutions to deliver insights on key business metrics (financial, operational, customer, and risk).

Partner with business and functional leaders to translate analytical needs into data models, visuals, and insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for BI visualization standards, report optimization, and data storytelling.

Promote data literacy and self-service adoption through training, usage analytics, and continuous feedback loops.

Leverage advanced analytics and AI-powered features (e.g., CoPilot in Power BI, cognitive search, and natural-language querying) to make analytics more intuitive and predictive.

Delivery Management
-
Manage enterprise-scale BI programs end-to-end, ensuring predictable delivery, scalability, and measurable outcomes.

Work closely with client-servicing and cross-functional teams to define SLAs, measure success metrics, and deliver business-aligned insights.

Maintain strong financial governance, managing large budgets, resource allocations, and ROI tracking.

Build and sustain Agile delivery models (SAFe, Scrum) to improve velocity and reduce cycle times.

CXO & Stakeholder Engagement
-
Serve as a strategic data advisor to the CIO, CFO, and business unit heads, shaping the enterprise’s analytics and AI roadmap.

Partner with business and technology stakeholders to co-create executive dashboards and insight narratives that influence key business decisions.

Innovation & Emerging Technology

Stay ahead of emerging trends in data, BI, and GenAI, particularly in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks Lakehouse, CoPilot for BI, and Agentic AI architectures.

Champion AI-augmented BI, predictive reporting, and conversational analytics to enhance insight discovery.

Drive continuous modernization through internal hackathons, accelerator programs, and cross-functional innovation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
-
15–18 years of experience in BI, Data Engineering, and Analytics leadership roles.
-
Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Databricks, PySpark, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI/Power Platform.
-
Proven track record implementing MDM and Metadata Management frameworks.
-
Experience with various data analytics tool, hands on experience is required in BI and data practices
-
Reasonable experience of working on data of corporate functions like Finance, HR, Technology, as such
-
Deep understanding of data modeling, semantic layer design, KPI frameworks, and performance optimization for BI.
-
Experience in enterprise-level BI reporting, dashboard development, and data storytelling for executives.
-
Demonstrated ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders and influence strategy through data insights.
-
Strong program management discipline, with a focus on delivery velocity, adoption, and cost efficiency.

Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring AI-powered analytics and emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate

Databricks Certified Data Engineer / GenAI Engineer Associate

SAFe Agile, PMP, or Six Sigma Green Belt

Exposure to CoPilot for Power BI and Agentic AI for analytics is a plus
