Description
We are seeking a highly self-driven Principal Software Engineer who takes comprehensive ownership from code to infrastructure and can navigate technical challenges independently. This role is perfect for someone who believes developers should own the complete lifecycle, from code to production to operations, and thrives in environments where individual technical excellence drives impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Write production-ready code daily with built-in quality, monitoring, and operational excellence from day one
- Manage and deploy infrastructure across multiple environments using Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Own the complete software delivery pipeline: design, development, testing, deployment, and production operations
- Navigate ambiguous technical challenges independently, knowing when and whom to engage for guidance
- Drive technical decisions that balance innovation with production stability and business needs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 6+ years of hands-on software engineering with proven ability to work autonomously in complex technical environments
- Strong production experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Experience owning complete feature delivery from development through production operations, including testing, deployment strategies, monitoring, alerting, and incident management
- Deep problem-solving abilities with track record of resolving complex technical challenges independently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and business stakeholders
