JOB TITLE: Principal Technical Consultant – SAP CPI

Role Overview:

The SAP CPI Architect Role is responsible for driving solution architecture, development, integration, and stakeholder engagement across complex SAP landscapes. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership, ensuring successful project delivery and aligning solutions with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design, development, and deployment in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Analyze integration scenarios across SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, align on priorities, and finalize the scope of deliverables.
• Architect and review technical solutions, providing guidance for best practices in CPI development.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge between business and IT teams.
• Perform hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and technical validation as needed.
• Plan and execute system integrations, in line with the latest SAP cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP technical development experience, with expertise in SAP BTP Integration developments.
• Experience in SAP Public/Private Cloud Implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architectures and integration patterns.
• Deliver seamless real-time and batch data synchronization between SAP S/4HANA Public & Private Cloud and all SAP CX components (CPQ, C4C, Commerce Cloud and FSM).
• Implement secure and scalable integrations using OAuth2, SAML security protocols and manage connectivity configurations across hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Cloud Connector, Destination Configuration, and Security Artifacts (PGP Certificates, Keystore Management).
• Develop and maintain CPI Palette functions (Content Modifier, Message Mapping, Router, Splitter, etc.) and custom scripts using Groovy or JavaScript to handle complex transformation and orchestration logic.
• Utilize various adapters such as SFTP, SOAP, HTTP, OData, IDoc, JDBC, and Mail for both inbound and outbound communication.
• Exposure to agile project management for SAP environments.
• Experience leading end-to-end technical delivery in SAP projects.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and client engagement.
• Experience in facilitating workshops, requirement gathering, and solution presentations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage ambiquity, and adapt to evolving business needs.
