What You’ll Do:

  • Champion Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and more) to streamline operations, reduce waste, and elevate productivity.
  • Design, optimize, and launch manufacturing processes for both new and existing programs, bringing innovative ideas from concept to reality.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot challenges, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable solutions.
  • Support new automotive program launches by developing efficient workflows, control plans, and robust process documentation.
  • Apply data-driven problem-solving tools to ensure consistent product quality and process reliability.
  • Deliver cost savings and productivity gains through automation, layout optimization, and best-practice standardization.
  • Act as a coach and mentor for operators and teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the plant.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting (automotive or high-volume preferred).
  • Proven success applying Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methods.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality systems and structured problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, hands-on mindset.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools.
