Short Job Description – Process/Piping Engineer (MEP)

Position: Process / Piping Engineer
Industry: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Role Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating piping and process systems for MEP projects including HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and utility networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, P&IDs, and material specifications.
• Perform pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and pump head calculations.
• Select materials, valves, and fittings as per project standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural teams.
• Review vendor drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning at site.
• Ensure compliance with codes such as ASME, NFPA, IPC, and relevant MEP standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Process Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in piping design within the MEP industry.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, or similar design tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
