Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing materials, components, and services required for our projects and operations. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, supply chain processes, and negotiation skills. The ability to join immediately is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

· Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on technical specifications, quality standards, price, and delivery timelines.

· Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications for materials and components.

· Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs) to potential suppliers.

· Analyze supplier proposals, conduct negotiations, and recommend the best source for procurement.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.

· Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.

· Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.

· Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and potential cost-saving opportunities.

· Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or a related field.

· 1 to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

· Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical specifications.

· Proven negotiation and communication skills.

· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

· Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to join immediately is a strong advantage.
