PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and project teams to understand procurement requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers both locally and internationally, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timelines.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors while building strong, long-term supplier relationships.
• Manage the complete end-to-end procurement cycle, including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier evaluations.
• Analyze pricing structures and supply chain risks to make cost-effective decisions.
• Keep up to date with import/export regulations and coordinate closely with freight forwarders.
• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market movements in electronic and electrical components.
