Job Title: - Procurement Engineer


Location: Jhagadia

Qualification

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering


Experience

  • 3–4 years of experience in procurement, purchase, and service contract management, preferably in an industrial or project environment .


Job Summary

The role involves end-to-end management of service procurement and contractual activities for engineering and project services. The candidate will ensure timely sourcing, compliance, and cost optimization while supporting project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Contract Management
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for engineering and project-related services.
  • Draft, review, and finalize service contracts ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to achieve cost efficiency and timely delivery.


  • Vendor Coordination
  • Identify and onboard new vendors as per compliance requirements.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment.


  • Project Support
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand service requirements and timelines.
  • Monitor contract execution and ensure alignment with project schedules.


  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, vendor agreements, and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal audit and legal requirements.


  • Cost & Performance Monitoring
  • Track service costs against budgets and highlight variances.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements.


Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of industrial services and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP / ERP systems for purchase transactions.
  • Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and contracts simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of contract law and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
