Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations

Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendation.

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors based on technical capability, price competitiveness, and delivery performance.

Review and verify material requisitions and specifications in coordination with engineering and project teams.

Ensure all purchased materials and services meet project specifications, quality, and HSE standards.

Prepare purchase orders and coordinate approvals in line with company DOA (Delegation of Authority).

Track orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials at project sites.
Vendor & Contract Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliability.

Negotiate commercial terms and long-term agreements to achieve cost savings and strategic sourcing benefits.

Maintain supplier databases, evaluate performance, and support vendor prequalification processes.
Technical & Commercial Coordination

Work closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure technical compliance in all procurement decisions.

Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and material submittals to ensure proper alignment between project needs and supplier offerings.

Provide input during project planning to forecast procurement requirements and lead times.
Reporting & Compliance

Prepare procurement status reports and updates for management and project stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures, audit requirements, and contractual obligations.

Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial) or Supply Chain Management.

For Procurement Engineer:
Minimum
3–5 years of experience
in technical or project-based procurement.

For Senior Procurement Officer:
Minimum
7 years of experience
, including
3 years in a senior or supervisory role
.

Proven experience in
construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects
preferred.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.
-
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication skills in English
