Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Procurement Executive with strong experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing new vendors, handling component purchasing, negotiating pricing, managing procurement schedules, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for production.
Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors / suppliers for electronic components, raw materials, and mechanical parts.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and supply.
- Conduct vendor audits, performance evaluations, and maintain supplier scorecards.
2. Purchasing & Procurement Operations
- Handle end-to-end procurement of electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, mechanical parts, consumables, and packaging items.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning/production teams to avoid material shortages.
3. Costing & Price Negotiation
- Negotiate best pricing, delivery terms, and credit terms with suppliers.
- Work closely with the costing team to support BOM cost estimation for new projects.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
4. EMS-Specific Responsibilities
- Understand BOM structures, alternate part sourcing, lead time analysis, MOQ, and supply constraints.
- Work with engineering teams for component substitutions and approvals.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers and internal SMT/PCB assembly teams.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain updated procurement records, contracts, and supplier documents.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards (ISO/EMS norms).
- Manage import documentation if required (HSN codes, freight, customs coordination).
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Quality teams for material planning.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with logistics partners and suppliers.
- Resolve supply issues to support uninterrupted production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 4–6 years experience in procurement within an EMS/Electronic manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOMs, and sourcing platforms.
- Proven experience in vendor development and price negotiation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with global sourcing (China, Taiwan, Malaysia vendors).
- Understanding of supply chain risks and alternate sourcing methods.
- Knowledge of customs, imports, delivery terms (Incoterms), and logistics.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
