Position Description

Job Title: Procurement Executive

Reporting Into: Director of Commercials & Projects - Modular

Direct Reports: N/A

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates


Job Objective:

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services required for Arena’s modular team. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality control across all procurement activities while maintaining strong vendor relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement process for materials and services across multiple projects.
  • Develop strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Source new suppliers and products that align with Arena’s quality and cost objectives.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approvals and processing.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and the Operations team to forecast procurement needs.
  • Track and report on procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure all procurement practices are compliant with internal policies and legal regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain a procurement database and update records on pricing, delivery schedules, and performance history.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure materials are received as per requirements


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software/systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and logistics for modular structures is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or modular building sectors.
  • Experience in project-based procurement is an advantage.
  • Existing supplier Database is an advantage
  • Proven record of being part of a project from A to Z within a General contractor
