Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to oversee procurement activities in the residential construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and extensive experience in managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and strategic sourcing to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of materials and services.
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement practices without compromising quality.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring terms align with project needs and organizational standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to address supply disruptions or quality issues.
- Software Proficiency: Tally ERP 9, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, MS-Office, Oracle Procurement Cloud
Key Requirements
- Experience: 16-20 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the residential construction industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
