Procurement Officer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Identify, source, and maintain a list of authorized vendors for various goods and services.
  2. Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  3. Liaise with Department Heads to proactively identify requirements.
  4. Process Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
  5. Order products and supplies, including determining the appropriate vendor.
  6. Manage the procurement of goods, services, and food & beverage products.
  7. Coordinate with the Accounting team to ensure timely payment to vendors and service providers.
  8. Make logistical arrangements pertaining to the delivery of goods as required.
  9. Create and maintain electronic and hard copy systems for relevant documentation.
  10. Review, compare, and analyze products and services to be purchased.
  11. Prepare cost analyses and reports and assist with budgets.
  12. Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  13. Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the Company.
     

Qualifications:
 

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business, or a related subject.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Procurement Coordinator, Purchasing Officer, or Logistics Coordinator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Knowledge of the Riyadh market will be advantageous.
