We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our growing team in the fitout industry. If you have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and experience sourcing materials and services for fitout projects, this role is perfect for you. As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting the successful execution of both fitout and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for fitout projects, ensuring all items meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with vendors for both fitout and MEP-related purchases (HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Collaborate with MEP engineers to understand technical requirements for MEP systems and ensure the procurement of components and systems such as HVAC equipment, electrical wiring, and plumbing fixtures.
• Coordinate procurement timelines to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, avoiding project delays.
• Review and process purchase orders for both fitout materials and MEP components, ensuring accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project budgets.
• Monitor inventory levels of both fitout materials and MEP components to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to anticipate material needs for ongoing and upcoming projects, including MEP system installation requirements.
• Track and manage procurement costs for fitout and MEP materials, ensuring projects stay within budget without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations throughout the procurement process for both fitout and MEP systems.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and new products, especially for MEP materials and technologies, to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the fitout, construction, or MEP industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
• Experience with sourcing materials and services for both fitout and MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software tools.
